MSN's Procrastination Central

The holidays are literally right around the corner, and MSN realizes that not everyone finished their shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Thankfully, they created an online one-stop-shop for the shopper who waited until the last minute.

Not to brag, but I braved the backed-up traffic and crowded malls the day after Thanksgiving and finished all of my shopping. Understandably, a great deal of consumers put off doing their holiday shopping for as long as they can because of the hustle and bustle.

With the jolly one fast approaching in his sleigh, many shoppers find themselves overwhelmed at the thought of picking through the leftovers of the holiday rush in stores. With that in mind, online shopping is fast becoming the favorite to shopping in stores as online sales reach a total of $11.7 billion.

For those who like to shop from the comfort of their couch, MSN's Procrastination Central offers great deals on gifts that can be ordered online and shipped to you in time for Christmas.

Procrastination Central's name is self-explanatory; it is a shopping site for consumers who have waited until the last minute to buy holiday gifts.

The site features hundreds of retailers, some of which are offering free overnight shipping, which guarantee that your order will be received by December 24.

Apparently there are benefits of waiting to do your shopping, as the station's retailers offer incentives when you buy from their online stores. Godiva offers free chocolates with any purchase, Circuit City offers free shipping on orders over $25, and Barnes & Noble offers a 40% savings on your purchase.

Several other featured retailers include Amazon.com, Lancome, Target, Sharper Image, Williams Sonoma, Pier1, and Dell Home.

I wish I had know that I could still get great sale deals on my purchases if I waited, because Procrastination Central even finds online sales and coupons. Shoppers may search through sales in categories including movies, music, electronics, and clothing to find the best prices.

Still clueless about what to get someone on your list? MSN has provided a list of the top 20 gifts for men, women, teens, kids, pets and gifts under $25.

If you are wondering about the quality of a product that you are considering, the site has expert consumer reports on everything from coffee makers to camera phones.

All things considered, MSN's Procrastination Central does everything for you except wrap your gifts. Happy Holidays!
