Another Award For Google Guys
This time the co-founders of Google have been recognized as the search engine company earns a "Business Leader of the Year" award.
Scientific American magazine has placed Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page among its list of 50 people having made the greatest contributions to science and technology in 2005, the publication announced.
Brin and Page join a dog-cloning Korean scientist and a Finnish entrepreneur turned philanthropist on the list. The magazine selects people in 17 categories as honorees, with Google placing in the Business category.
"They've done so much in being able to create different sort of tools and amazing new ways of looking for information," magazine editor-in-chief John Rennie said in a CBS News report. "They just become a tremendous creative force and one that really it could revolutionize the way we organize information even just in our personal machines let alone the web."
Earlier this year, Gawker.com's favorite magazine, Vanity Fair, named Brin and Page to its list of powerbrokers.
