Yahoo Video Search Feeds Media RSS
The Yahoo Search blog recently put up an entry on the availability of the video content for devices like the iPod video. Naturally, they discussed how to set up a Media RSS feed for video through Yahoo Video Search.
It looks pretty simple too. First, you utilize the Yahoo Video Search RSS URL Generator. This will get a URL based on whatever you're searching for. Then the copy the URL and paste it into the "Subscribe to Podcast" window of the iTunes client. Paydirt!
There's plenty of video content out there too. Yahoo is one of the first to discuss loading their video search into iTunes though. Also, if you have an RSS aggregator that supports Media RSS or RSS enclosures, they said you could use these feeds to automatically download the top video search results.
The RSSWeblog did have one criticism though. They criticized Yahoo for not doing enough to promote their own products at least equally with iTunes. Of course this could be the realization that iTunes is the single biggest powerhouse in the portable music/video market right now and no one is really even close. Receive
