Search Blogs With Yahoo
Search Engine Journal posted some code to allow the creation of a simple Yahoo blog search form, and it really really works.
Why Yahoo wouldn't have simply created a blog search option itself, even just as a public beta, may mean they have more planned for the service than just simply returning results. If that solution ends up including heavy-duty spam filters, so much the better.
Until then, Loren Baker has posted a simple snippet of code, courtesy of Amit Agarwal at Digital Inspiration. It's a basic form that submits a query to Yahoo to search blogs.
A quick test of it using Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers as criteria worked as expected.
