Monday Morning Bad, Tuesday Morning Good
While Microsoft discovered 35 percent of the workweek is unproductive, CareerWomen.com finds in a poll that Tuesdays are best.
Non-productivity may hit new heights this week as the final installment of the Star Wars saga debuts on May 19th. But in a given week, Tuesday between 10 am and noon will be the most productive period of time according to CareerWomen.com.
"All of us have our best days and times, but the results clearly show that the majority of the workforce has a sound understanding of when they feel at the top of their productivity game," commented JillXan Donnelly, president of CareerWomen.com, in a press release.
"Identifying what makes us more productive helps both employers and employees prepare and organize to increase efficiencies and effectiveness in the workplace," Ms. Donnelly said.
Respondents to the survey on the web site offered some productivity tips:
- Create and use lists
- Be an early bird
- Avoid e-mail addiction
- Socialize during lunch
- Stop when you hit a wall
