Handango Takes Windows Mobile InHand
New product from the mobile download provider offers users an easy catalog system for finding software.
Handango announced support for the new Windows Mobile platform at Microsoft's Mobile and Embedded DevCon in Las Vegas. The new technology allow licensees to create branded catalogs of their products for display on Windows Mobile devices.
The product focuses on the needs of retailers. Developers for retailers can use InHand to build a customized interface and deliver content to users of Windows Mobile and other platforms.
But the strongest appeal for retailers will be the process where they can build a custom catalog of their offerings. A catalog would be compatible with a wide variety of consumer hardware like cellphones, without having to make platform-specific tweaks to support new handsets.
Interested parties can visit Handango for more information.
