Xbox360 AND HDTV: Dude… I Gotta Have It!
Madden 2006 on the Xbox360 AND Samsung's new HDTV is gonna look so cool. Samsung and Microsoft are tag-teaming on this one and the benefits for the geek set will be unbelievable.It's going to be a hip offering and MTV will broadcast the event. New games will be available with a better graphics, sound, etc. But now Samsung will help them out just a little with its new HDTV .
The 23-inch LCD television will have some nice upgrades specifically with the game console in mind. One of the biggest changes will be the pixel switching speed going from 16 milliseconds to 12 milliseconds. This will help clear up some of the blur that occasionally happens on LCD screens for fast moving games.
The television will also incorporate SRS TruSurround, which simulates the traditional multispeaker surround sound. A 170-degree viewing area for multiple players/viewers will make a great addition.
"The gaming segment is one we paid no attention to in years past," said Jonas Tannenbaum, Samsung's director of marketing. "But it's a fast-growing segment. These people are intimate with their TV's."
This cool cat will run for $1100, $500 less than its current 22-inch HDTV. It's imply going to ROCK!
