AOL IM For Windows Virus In Wild
An innocent looking link sent to you over AIM could have your PC downloading a virus.
The message "hey check this out!" along with a link to http://adwordsvideo.com/gallery/pictures.php will appear to have come from a member of your buddy list.
The link instead leads to a download called unknown@hotmail.com.exe.
This executable will then do tasks like port scanning and add itself to your registry and startup.
Protect your AIM client by learning more about Trojans and how they can get onto your machine. Be an informed user and keep your antivirus software up to date.
