HP Invites Four Developers To Blog
HP has launched a portal page that links to four relatively new corporate developer blogs.
So far the webloggers are playing it very safe. One writes that he is intentionally shying away from controversial topics - such as the election. Another says he was asked to blog for HP. I have to assume that someone at the company invited him, but it doesn't say. Further, while the blog supports comments and trackbacks - a welcome move - every single post carries the following disclaimer...
"Opinions expressed here and in any corresponding comments are the personal opinions of the original authors, not of HP and may not have been reviewed in advance by HP."
It's not exactly Scoblesque or Channel 9. In fact, it looks like HP legal put its fingerprints on it. Nevertheless, it's surely a start for the venerable tech company. Welcome HP. Receive
