AnooX Search Engine Hits Milestone

AnooX the search engine that promises to revolutionize the Search industry, by delivering far more accurate search results and much higher value to advertisers -- than Yahoo or Google, announces that it has passed the 13 Million Web site crawled marker.

How important is this milestone? Very.

Considering that dmoz.org, which is a (Key) source of search information to Google & Yahoo, has at its current operational level about 5 Million Web sites crawled. Hence AnooX at its current crawled level has crawled more Web sites than Google & Yahoo and we are still continuing with our crawling and expect to be at 25 Million web sites crawled by the time we go live. What this means is that AnooX database of information for generating search results will be very deep and complete compared to existing search engines.

Other reasons why AnooX is going to be the best search engine are:

1) AnooX delivers much higher value to its users. This is due to our not-for-profit business model, whereby we place the benefit of our users (Search users, Web site owners, Advertisers, etc.) ahead of any profit motivations. Something that Google and Yahoo just cannot do.

2) AnooX delivers much more accurate search results. This is due to our Patent Pending mechanism for generating the search result where our machine generated General listings are continuously voted up or down based on the most democratic principal of 1 man/woman 1 vote (per Key word). The result is the most accurate search engine rankings because research has shown that majority vote almost always generates more accurate results compared to machine generated information or few people deciding which is how Google & Yahoo and other search engines generate their search results.

(Note: AnooX voting members must validate their identities, via a simple yet free & effective way, before they can vote.)

Although the full AnooX Search Engine is slated to be open to the public on Dec/15/04, the pre-release site is open and can be accessed at www.anoox.com

AnooX is made possible by NetDIVE, one of the pioneering Internet companies, by B. Dean Ansari of USA and Vincent Zimmermann of France and by the assistance of developers world wide.
