SEM To Aid Cancer Research
icrossing agreed to provide a pro bono donation of search engine marketing services to the Cancer Research Institute (CRI).
"Charitable organizations like Cancer Research Institute face intense competitive pressure in their fundraising efforts, and the internet has become an extremely powerful tool in that endeavor," said Jeffrey Herzog, CEO at icrossing. "When a potential donor seeks out a keyword such as 'cancer research' on the leading search engines, it is critical that CRI be brought immediately to their attention. icrossing's services are focused on helping our clients achieve maximum search engine visibility and to turn that visibility into actionable events whether that is a donation, an inquiry or a download."
Herzog continued, "We always want to give back something of ourselves to the community we live in. We felt that our specific skills and knowledge would be a much more valuable gift to CRI than just writing a check."
Dr. Jill O'Donnell-Tormey, Executive Director of the Cancer Research Institute stated that "CRI is very grateful to icrossing for providing services that will substantially impact our online fundraising activities, which in turn will help us fund scientists' efforts around the world to fight cancer."
