Microsoft Board Of Directors Declare Quarterly Dividend
Microsoft today announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share.
The dividend is payable Dec. 2, 2004, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 17, 2004. The ex-dividend date is Nov. 15, 2004.
This quarterly dividend is in addition to the one-time special dividend announced by the company on July 20, 2004. The $3.00 per share special dividend also will be paid on Dec. 2, 2004, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 17, 2004, conditioned upon shareholder approval of amendments to the company's employee stock plans that will allow certain adjustments to employee equity compensation awards to offset the impact of the special dividend payout.
