CTO Rafiq Mohammadi will focus on the long-term direction of Interwoven's products and solutions, including architecture development and merger and acquisition strategies. "By keeping our global engineering teams operating at peak performance, David will strengthen our focus on ECM solutions for businesses," stated Mohammadi. "With David spearheading the daily operations of engineering, we will also be able to further advance our long term strategy, enabling our customers to realize the full benefits of their ECM investments for years to come."

"During my time at Sun, I've seen the emergence of exciting new enterprise technologies, and studied the best ways to realize their full potential," said Nelson-Gal. "The enterprise content management market is a strong, growing market, and Interwoven has risen to the top as a leader in ECM solutions for business. I am eager to integrate my experience with Interwoven's impressive, customer-focused engineering team."
