FindWhat.com, provider of performance-based marketing and commerce enabling services, announced today a strategic private label initiative with Yellow Pages Group.

Under the terms of the revenue sharing-based licensing agreement, FindWhat.com will provide the technology and business operations consulting to support the new YPG pay-per-click advertising service. The service will employ the existing infrastructure and systems at FindWhat.com and the technology will reside in FindWhat.com's globally redundant data centers. FindWhat.com's private label partners include large companies with leadership positions in their respective countries or industries, such as Terra Lycos, which offers the Lycos's InSite(TM) AdBuyer advertising service, Mitsui & Co., which offers the LISTOP paid listing network in Japan, and ThomasB2B.com, a joint venture with Thomas Global Register to offer the first international industrial business-to-business paid listings service.

"FindWhat.com is continually looking for strategic expansion opportunities surrounding our core competency in performance-based marketing services," stated Craig Pisaris-Henderson, chairman and chief executive officer of FindWhat.com. "Our private label service provides us with the perfect vehicle to not only expand into new markets efficiently but to do so with the strongest, most established companies in their respective markets, allowing both companies to leverage strengths and sector specific knowledge. YPG is the perfect local partner with which to expand into Canada -- not only are they experts in their marketplace through 96 years of providing Yellow Pages(TM) directories, but they are also the Canadian market leader in online web directory properties."

"Canadian Internet users turn to online directories to retrieve all kinds of information, and having accurate information that is available quickly is essential for online users," said Jean-Pascal Lion, vice president - electronic directories, Yellow Pages Group. "Take YPG's current market position, combined with our unique experience in the specialized directories marketplace, mix that with FindWhat.com's technology and operations expertise in pay-per-click advertising, and we hope to offer Canadians the perfect online Canadian marketplace that will benefit Canadian buyers and sellers alike."
