Yahoo And Google Stop Gambling Ads
In a move likely to hurt online gambling sites, search engine giants Yahoo and Google have announced that they will no longer serve ads from online casinos. The two search engines expect the ads to stop running by the end of April.
This ban comes as the U.S. government begins cracking down on American businesses associated with online casinos. Both companies cite a "lack of clarity" in American law concerning online gambling. Recently, the World Trade Organization has ruled that a US ban on online gambling was an international trade law breach.
According to Rediff.com, Yahoo will cease casino ads in the U.S. while Google is dropping them worldwide. Receive
