ERP.com To Sponsor Mobile Cloud Computing Event
The enterprise resource planning industry - and specifically, ERP.com - will be front and center when the Mobile Cloud Computing World Forum begins later this year. ERP.com has decided to be a sponsor of the event, meaning its name will be seen by quite a few important people.
If you're unclear what this event's about, a statement from ERP.com might clear matters up for you. The organization explained, "The Mobile Cloud Computing Conference being held across the pond in the UK will provide a comprehensive update of mobile cloud computing technologies and trends including SaaS applications and discussions will be lead by acclaimed experts in the cloud and mobile cloud computing space."
As for some further specifics, the one-day conference will be held on November 2nd, and speakers will include individuals representing the BBC, Gartner, General Motors, HM Revenue and Customs, Morgan Stanley, Rackspace, and Salesforce.com.
Also, while early bird tickets are supposed to cost 295.00 (or about $453.09 at current conversion rates), everything should be streamed online for free.
Then here's the message ERP.com will be trying to communicate to attendees: Chance Berry, a marketing manager at ERP.com, claimed, "The cost and complexity of early enterprise systems were too expensive and difficult for most businesses to handle. Cloud computing had taken ERP software solutions to a new level and are changing the way companies are operating their business, particularly in the SMB market."
Let's hope this arrangement benefits ERP professionals and companies of all stripes.
