Writing a C Makefile
There are a few things that you as a programmer can do to simplify your coding experience. You can use an integrated development environment (IDE). There are several free IDEs out there that do a surprisingly good job consolidating all the aspects of coding and simplifying them to the point of brain-numbing monotony. That's not the way I like to code. I prefer to do my coding in vim, plain and simple. So when it comes to managing a large programming project, I need a way to make sure that all of my files are up to date when I compile. I accomplish this through the use of a Makefile. Directory:

How To Add Security Passwords For AirPort Express Speakers
I have a nifty wireless wifi speaker setup in my office where we use AirPlay on our Apple devices to send music to the speakers from iPhones, iPads and our Mac computers. Works awesome and it's built around an old Airport Express, but I realized that anyone can find and access the speakers, not just people in my office. Is there a way to password protect the speakers? How To Deal With Business Criticism
If someone got a discussion going, pinpointing what they believed were serious flaws in your service, how would you respond? Typical reactions to that kind of unrequested, negative feedback, is to either ignore it or attack it. A less common reaction, is to study the critique with an open mind and look to see if there's something you can learn from it. Directory:

How Twitter Has Evolved Our Online Consumption
2010 will be forever commemorated as the year Twitter matured from a cool but undecided teenager into more confident and assertive young adult. While there's still much room to mature and develop, Twitter's new direction is crystallizing. With a new look, Dick Costolo as the new CEO, and an oversold new advertising platform, Twitter growing into something not yet fully identifiable, but formidable nonetheless. Directory:

How To Build And Promote Your Business Facebook Page
In order for your business to leverage Facebook to its fullest extent, creating a Facebook business page is a necessity. A couple of quick reason why it's beneficial to do so: Facebook Pages can have unlimited fan counts. On Facebook, individual profiles are limited to 5,000 friends, whereas Pages can have unlimited fans (or likes). Once your profile friend list reaches 5,000, Facebook will encourage you to set up a Page, but doesn't offer a tool to convert your profile to a Page. For that, you're on your own. Directory:

Have You Updated Your Services Page?
When was the last time you updated the sales / services pages on your website or blog? I ask this, because many people write the key pages of their websites or blogs when the sites are first built, and then they are left alone. Even though the marketplace is changing faster today than ever before, many small business owners have not updated their services pages for months or years. Directory:

Social Customer Relationship Management
I thought it would be very interesting to look at how other people in the world are talking about, describing, and visualizing Social Customer Relationship Management (Social CRM). I found some pretty interesting images out there and compiled some of them below. I also included an image from Chess Media Group. It's interesting to see the various differences between how people talk about visualize the same topic but; some are simple yet others are more technical and complex. Notice for example how Lithium and Oracle look at social CRM (both vendors). If you have an image that you created or came across that you feel helps explain Social CRM, send it on over! Directory:

The Latest Browser Traffic Data Points
After the downfall of the Internet Explorer 6 in the browser market, Microsoft didn't faced only the clamouring of the web developers and proprietor but also had to come up with a new upgraded browser as soon as possible. According to the Net Application, IE has always been foremost runner up in the race of the Net Market and then comes Firefox and chrome. Though IE owns more than a half of the market share, it lost one point of share from October's 59.26% to November's 58.26% and Chrome gained from 8.47% to 9.27%. Firefox is losing its market share by just insignificant number in points and; it should be worried as the new upgraded browser of IE and chrome are luring its users. Directory:

Creating Keyword Rich Content To Rank High And Draw Traffic
I believe we need to look past artificial perceptions about how search engines look at a given page. For example, whether you use an <h1> tag or a <h2>, <h3>, or whatever on a page does not matter. What does matter is the relative nature of what you do. For example, if you have lots of basic text on a page, then headers such as these will stand out: Directory:

Should ISPs Be Charged With Removing Piracy?
Helienne Lindvall at the Guardian asserts that ISPs must play their part in stamping out piracy. Her argument is that despite the convictions against the Pirate Bay, the site is still very much online. Likewise, contrary to the efforts of the courts to shutdown LimeWire, a few vigilant souls have restored the client. Directory:

Managing Your Events Through Eventzilla
A recent and a more general web surfing activity of mine lead me into encountering a unique, quick & simple, and a very inexpensive online start-up firm named Eventzilla. I say unique, because it is a service that was never before thought of and one which could help event management firms save a lot of time. I say, quick & simple because unlike other online services, this website enables event organizers to take very little lead time and complications in availing event management solutions. Directory:
