Using a Creative Zen Vision on a Mac?
Like you, I am highly impressed with the Creative Labs Zen Vision:W [see my review] but it's darn frustrating that Creative only makes its software available for Windows computers, not Mac. I know about the XNJB application that lets me add photos and audio, but it won't let me work with movies. So is there some sort of solution? Directory:

Mixing Old and New Media
While successful marketing certainly has some new edgy and exciting adjectives attached to it these days-"viral," "guerilla," "mobile"-the good ol' adage, "Don't forget from where you've come" means a lot here. Directory:

Where IT is Going
Over the last couple of days, I have been at a security conference in NY City, and it has proven to be very interesting in the end not just to hear about what pain people have, but in general, where major industry leaders think it is going. Directory:

Parental Controls in Windows Vista
I am running Windows Vista on the family computer, which means that there are several different users. Is there a way for me to prevent other family members from accessing my school and work files or limiting access to the computer? I've heard Windows Vista provides some sort of feature to do this? SWFObject Broken in IE7 on Windows?
I've just made a worrying discovery: it seems that in some instances my preferred method of embedding a SWF file into a web page (I normally use SWFObject) can fail in quite a bad way for some users running IE7 on Windows - that's a lot of potential users that cannot see your SWF content. Web Business Risk Management
Is placing all the eggs in one basket, in the form of 1-stop shop website design, maintenance & hosting the best option? In my opinion, it most definitely is not! Keeping all website elements separate is sound business risk management practice! Directory:

Someone asked on the Model-Glue mailing list how to keep deal with keeping event handler names and URLs in views consistent, i.e., if they change an event handler name, how can they avoid having to change the string wherever it appears in links in their views. Directory:

Installing Vista in Parallels 3
I just read about Parallels 3.0 being released which is very cool, but rather than run Windows XP in Parallels, as you've written about, I want to run Microsoft Vista on my Mac instead. I have a MacBook Pro with 2GB RAM: is that enough? And if so, how do I install Vista in Parallels? Directory:
