My advice, is as follows:-
increase the level of relevant, visible text on their front page, with more key words and especially phrases, than currently there add extensive "alt tags" to each image, packed with keywords and especially phrases
add some common typographical errors into the tags -- so many surfers cannot spel
pack the page tags with phrases, rather than mere bare words.
add dynamic content to the front page. Those sites of mine that appear to get noticed are those with Newsfeeds etc. and with these, different words might be used on a bi-weekly basis for instance to see if response improves.
buy more domain names, generics, with various suffixes, for brand protection and to target a global market
mirror the site on these URLs, make a community of sites each optimised with different key phrases.
perhaps use of SHTML for instance, with navigation etc as external file (SSI) will improve engine performance
