When the Search Engine Strategies 2006 conference in San Jose gets under way next week, plenty of staffers from Ask.com will be on hand to give presentations.

With SES 2006 taking place right in their backyard, the folks from Ask.com definitely want to take part in the event.

They noted in the Ask Blog that several people from Ask and Bloglines will be part of panel discussions taking place throughout the week of SES 2006.

This is a list of the sessions where you can find those Ask and Bloglines people, as listed in the post, and a snippet of the session description from the SES 2006 site:

Auditing Paid Listing & Click Fraud Issues: Paul Vallez - Did you really get that much traffic from paid listings last month or is something funny going on? Reviewing your paid traffic is an essential task any serious search engine marketer should undertake.

Duplicate Content & Multiple Site Issues: Rahul Lahiri - More and more site owners are concerned that they might get penalized accidentally or overtly because of duplicate content. If you run mirror sites, will search engines ban you?

Meet the Search Ad Networks: James Speer - Representatives from major search engines that sell paid listings and other search advertising discuss new aspects to their programs and answer questions in general from the audience.

Meet the Blog & Feed Search Engines: Robyn DeuPree - A chance to hear directly from representatives who operate major blog and feed (RSS/Atom) search engines about how they operate.

Speaking Unofficially: Search Engine Bloggers: Gary Price - They work for search engines but also maintain their own popular personal or unofficial blogs. Come hear search engine bloggers tackle big issues in search, speaking entirely for themselves, of course! (Google's Matt Cutts and Yahoo's Jeremy Zawodny will also participate)

Meet the Crawlers: Kaushal Kurapati - Representatives from major crawler-based search engines cover how to submit and feed them content
