CBS Podcasting “Survivor Live”
CBS announced podcasts of audio from '60 Minutes', ‘The Guiding Light', and a Survivor: Guatemala show called ‘Survivor Live' via Apple's iTunes.
Larry Kramer, president of CBS Digital Media, may not be quite ready to jump aboard the video iPod bandwagon, but his network will make a selection of audio podcasts available on iTunes.
‘Face The Nation' joins CBS Radio, NFL Today on Sundays, and other programs coming to iTunes. The CBS Radio News podcasts will include shows like ‘Harry Smith Reporting' and ‘Wired Magazine'. Fantasy football players will find three weekly podcasts focused on their hobby.
"Podcasting has become a way of life for an increasingly growing population, and I'm confident our programming will find a whole new audience on this hugely popular platform," Kramer said in a statement.
Popular reality show Survivor will have Entertainment Weekly's Dalton Ross and former Survivor Jenna Morasca hosting ‘Survivor Live'. Users can find the podcasts online at the iTunes site.
