HP Partners With Seiko I Infotech On Outdoor Graphics Printing
HP and Seiko I Infotech have signed an agreement to develop and market large-format printers specifically for outdoor graphics printing.
This should put HP higher up in the market for customes who make heavy-duty signs, banners, vehicle graphics, etc.
HP will handle all of the marketing, sales, and distribution aspects for the printers, as well as the supplies, and Seiko I Infotech will bring its technology to the table.
"We were looking for a partner that could provide the levels of print quality, ease of use and system performance that HP customers have come to expect," said Enrique Lores, the vice president and general manager of HP's Large Format Printing, Imaging and Printing Group.
"Partnering with Seiko I Infotech enables us to rapidly expand our presence in the durable outdoor signage market," added Lores.
