Google Keeps Your Search History

Google account holders may now keep their search history just as Gmail retains conversations.

Remember that great link to a site that provided information on finding discounts for your Disney vacation last year? No? That's all right. If you've ever needed a link that you barely noticed while searching days earlier, Google's new My Search History can help.

Only Google account holders who sign in and use this feature have their search history retained; normal searches by users who visit google.com won't, which should be reasonable to those with privacy concerns. For those wishing to take advantage of this new service, My Search History allows you to review your queries, by keyword and by day. This lets you review what you searched, or if you've forgotten your query but know you did the search last Saturday, to review that day's searches.

Learn more about My Search History at Google's web site. And that great link for Disney vacation savings may be found at Mousesavers.
