Google, Ask.com Celebrate Election Day
Ask Jeeves and Google have decided to celebrate Election Day, reminding US search users to perform their civic responsibility on one of the most important days of the year.
Each engine's celebration consists of a logo alteration that commemorates the importance of voting. This also continues their tradition of using seasonal logos to celebrate other holidays and occasions. Although, it's unfortunate that Google and Ask are the only engines to celebrate today's importance.
The Ask logo features Jeeves with a megaphone, reminding users to vote, while Google's alteration includes a box with a check going through it. These logos send users a clear message: be sure and vote. Receive
