CRM magazine revealed the winners of its 2004 CRM Leaders awards at a gala awards ceremony held during DCI's Customer Relationship Management Conference in San Francisco.

CRM magazine's 2004 CRM Leader Awards recognize superior performance in three areas: ROI excellence in customer companies, individual achievement, and vendor leadership. The CRM Elite award showcases the best recent results and ROI among CRM user companies. The Influential Leaders award spotlights the executives in CRM who have left an indelible mark on either their industry or their company this past year. CRM Market Leaders ranks the top vendors in eight categories.

The CRM Elite award recognizes excellence in getting both hard and soft ROI results from CRM initiatives. Winning companies met or surpassed their expectations. CRM magazine judged efforts in six categories. The winners in each category are as follows:

CRM Market Leaders recognizes the top five vendors in eight categories based on a combination of weighted criteria, including revenues and revenue growth, market share, reputation for customer satisfaction, and depth of functionality. Additionally, we examined how else these companies had excelled this past year within their specific categories.

For 2004, CRM magazine expanded the number of categories to more accurately reflect the disciplines within CRM, and to reward sterling service to both small and large companies.
